We believe that we have a responsibility to minimise the effect that we have on the environment in general, and the Snowdonia National Park in particular. We pledge to continue to improve our own practices, and encourage our guests to enjoy the area, without damaging it. To this end, we aim to:
- Reduce our energy requirement by use of low energy bulbs, timers on heating, hot water and external lighting, appropriate kettles, and turning off equipment on standby. We ask our guests to turn off televisions, lights and phone chargers when not in use.
- Recycle paper, glass, cans, and other items as facilities become available. Our guests can help by putting newspapers, bottles, cans and leaflets alongside the bins in the room.
- Provide information for guests to travel to Seabreeze by train and coach, and to get around the surrounding area by bus, boat, bicycle or foot.
- Conserve water where practical, by use of lower toilet flush volumes, towel replacement policy, and plant watering from rainwater when possible.
- Purchase locally and responsibly where appropriate.
